Sunday, May 1:  Carcassone

Today we drove to Carcassone. It is a huge castle. We ate lunch there, and we walked around the walls. It took about 20 minutes. It is one of the biggest castles in the world. It was funny to see little children all fighting with plastic and wood swords. When we were done, we drove to our hotel. On the way there we were driving through a town and everybody was staring at us. We didn’t know why, until we saw a parade on the road. We stopped to watch and a man threw confetti on me! Dad drove us to the our hotel. The hotel had a dog named Rick. My bed is on a loft. We had dinner at a pizzeria.
