Wednesday, May 26:  Stonehenge, Avebury

We woke up early so we could beat the crowds at Stonehenge. Dad drove us there after breakfast. The Audioguide told us a lot about it. After that Dad drove us to Avebury. It is a little town surrounded by rocks. We walked around the rocks and sheep for a mile. A lady let David and I make pins in the museum along the way. Then Dad drove us to another town called Laycock. We went to the Abbey. They had a kid quiz about the Abbey. A man who worked there showed us the cloisters where they shot some of the first Harry Potter movie. Dad drove us back home and in some of the hills there are white chalk horses.
