Wednesday, June 9:  Pencil Museum, Derwent Water

After breakfast Mom went to the laundromat and Dad, David and I went to the Internet. Once we finished, Dad, David and I went back to the pool. It was more crowded than last time but it was still fun. We had a little picnic outside for lunch. The we went to the Pencil Museum. They made Derwent pencils. The movie, “The Snowman,” was made completely out of them. They have the biggest pencil in the world. Dad bought us and himself some pencils. Since Mom hadn’t done anything we all rented a boat to row on the lake. It was fun except the wind made it hard for Dad to row so we didn’t get very far. We had dinner at an Italian place.
